We are very excited to announce Medora's first new product for 2017, the AerationPlus© 1800 Circulator!  There was a definite need for affordable and effective circulation options for small lakes & ponds as well as smaller targeted areas within a larger lake or reservoir.  The AerationPlus 1800 was designed specifically to do just that.  See our operation demonstration video below!

Much can be said about this latest addition to our freshwater circulator family.  

First off, we wanted the ability to apply all our knowledge & success in combatting cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) blooms with SolarBee circulation and package it in such a way so every freshwater stakeholder (from private ponds, stormwater, parks, golf courses, you name it), could introduce beneficial circulation to their water at low-cost without breaking the bank.

Next, it had to be strong and versatile enough to circulate larger areas.  Each AerationPlus 1800 Circulator has an area of influence of 5 acres per circulator and can be deployed in multiples to provide circulation coverage for larger areas.

Thirdly, it had to be suitable for those up-close places where aesthetics come into play.  The AerationPlus 1800 Circulator is completely submerged.  All that will be noticed is effective circulation and better water quality.

It had to be quiet… ultra-quiet (less than 50 decibels).  The AerationPlus 1800 air unit is surprisingly subtle and is barely noticeable in most everyday situations.

And it had to be safe enough for swimmers & waders, safe enough for boats, safe enough for high use areas.  The AerationPlus 1800 Circulator is air-powered with no electricity or moving parts in the water.

It had to be manageable and easy to place.  The AerationPlus 1800 Circulator can be deployed by one person if need be (though two are recommended, safety first!).

Lastly, it had to be ready to go right out of the box.  The standard package includes the AerationPlus 1800 Circulator & anchor, an all-weather, ultra-quiet AU-100 Air Unit (plugs into standard 110V), and 100 feet of air hose.  This can also be customized to better fit your specific needs.

The AerationPlus 1800 incorporates all these things into a great circulator.

Small water bodies are important and are found everywhere.  They can easily add value to a neighborhood if well kept & managed or they or can do just the opposite if they are unsightly, or smell bad, or causes a dog to die when they drink the water...or worse.  Circulation is a proven strategy to help improve water quality and at a price point starting less than $4000, we think the AerationPlus 1800 Circulator is a winner.
